Job Summary

We are working with a leading Global Private Equity firm to hire a Real Estate Analyst / Associate with 1-3 years of working experience to work across APAC market, this role is based in their Singapore team.

Role Responsibilities:
  • Work closely with senior team in the execution of new investments in the region and maintaining and monitoring existing corporate and portfolio investments
  • Research and evaluate real estate investment opportunities
  • Evaluating prospective deals and assisting due diligence efforts on real estate investment transactions including market research, financial analysis and asset valuation
  • Financial modeling and analyzing potential investments by building asset, portfolio and corporate models
  • Conduct financial and business diligence (e.g. industry analysis, competitive position, growth prospects)
  • Preparation of documentation of investment analysis including investment memos and PowerPoint presentations to the Investment Committee and other key partners for approval
  • Perform market benchmarking to track relative performance, industry trends/country data in the property sector
  • Supports the transition for DD/closing to the design and implementation of asset management and exit strategy
  • Supports ad hoc value-added projects working with team members throughout the life of the investment
  • Supporting deal origination, business development, operations, and marketing activities
  • Work effectively and successfully in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
Qualifications / Requirements:
  • Masters / at least bachelor's degree; in finance, economics, real estate or a related field from top Universities
  • Investment professional background with at least 1-3 years of experience working at an investment bank in real estate sector group or top global real estate PE by AUM
  • Speaks fluent English and any Asian language skills will be an advantage
  • Strong analytical, modelling and quantitative capabilities
  • Ability to think creatively and articulate complex messages and ideas simply and clearly
  • Accuracy and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Clear and concise writing skills
  • Highly detail-oriented and organized; ability to juggle many projects and meet deadlines
  • Team-player who has the desire to participate in an entrepreneurial firm culture
  • Team player who is able to both take direction and show initiative as appropriate
  • Very strong Excel and Powerpoint skills
  • High degree of dedication
  • Results-oriented, with an ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and expeditiously
