Job Summary
Our client is a leading alternative investment firm focused on APAC with an extremely strong track-record in Real Assets. They manage capital on behalf of significant institutional fund investors and have more than USD50 billion AUM. they are looking for a Senior/ Director level Acquisitions professional to join their team in Japan.Job Description:
Provide strong support in leading and mentoring the team.
Draft IC memos and articulate successes and challenges the team is facing in various deals to the senior members of the Real Assets team.
Hands-on involvement in the investment management process, including acquisition and portfolio/asset management. Must be able to step into and directly manage individual projects such as purchase & sale negotiations, financing, contracting, leasing, disposition and refinancing.
You would be working across Core-plus/value-add, Core and Logistics funds.
Ad-hoc involvement in the opportunistic strategy, where required.
Ad-hoc investor relations support such as site visits and responding to LP questions.
Target Assets: Office, Retail, Residential and Industrial/ Logistics.
Requirements:
- A minimum of 10 years’ experience in the real estate investment industry.
- Ability to manage and drive hands-on, practical day-to-day processes of acquisition, investment, asset management, portfolio management and dispositions.
- Able to dive into guide/step-in where required on behalf of junior to mid-level members of the team.
- High levels of EQ and ability to build relationships with internal team and external counterparties.
- Strong mathematical and commercial acumen.
- Highly developed negotiation and communication skills.
- Excellent excel modelling skills.
- Impeccable integrity to represent PAG in the real estate market and as a senior member of the investment team.
- A keen collaborator who enjoys a team environment.
