Job Summary
This busy and growing property developer is looking for an in-house Assistant / Project Manager to join them and look after all of their refurbishment and upgrade programmes across the UK.From your Manchester base you'll be helping the Project Team with all manner of project work, utilising external consultants and contractors to make sure the upgrades to the portfolio are on time, on budget and to the standard required.
You do need to have at least 1-2 years of experience as a Building Surveyor or Construction Project Manager, either from a consultancy background or from a contracting background, or from working directly for the client already. You don't necessarily need to have experience in the residential sector, but ANY sector that's fast-track refurbishment where you can show evidence of helping tender for work, and helping to manage a project from start to finish. The majority of the work will be fast-paced refurbishment work, but there will be some new build in there as well, so any experience in that area would be useful.
There will be the occasional overnight stay depending on where the projects are, as well as UK-Wide travel as needed when you're not in the South Manchester office.
