About the Company: Private Equity fund backed Student Accommodation platform is seeking a Senior Investment Manager in London to support acquisitions and asset management including the refurbishment plan across a UK wide student accommodation portfolioAbout the Role: Main Responsibilities:
- Responsible for management of an extensive investment/acquisition pipeline.
- Leading and implementing refurbishment plans.
- Management of external consultants, deal execution and due diligence.
- Line management of Acquisitions, Development, Maintenance and Compliance teams.
- Support all business regions with technical property knowledge to reduce costs, improve portfolio condition and deliver cross function efficiencies.
Experience required:
- Must have proven experience in the UK real estate/property market, ideally including London across the regions.
- Broad experience including investment/acquisitions, portfolio, and asset management.
- Circa 5-10 years’ experience in an asset management/acquisition’s role.
- RICS qualification desired but not essential.
- Those with student/living sector experience would be an advantage.
- Preference for dynamic, commercial professional with lot of potential to be a Director/Board member in the future.
- Hands-on role: will need to do regular site visits across the UK and help with deal sourcing etc.
- Experience of managing teams.
- Strong network.
- Good origination and deal execution experience.
- Those with an entrepreneurial mind-set will be well suited.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Highly motivated, mature, humble, and commercially minded.
- Interest in technology.
