Job Summary
Our client is a leading global real estate investor with significant capital to deploy across the UK and Europe. As part of the group’s growth plan, they are looking to hire a Senior Analyst or Associate in their Real Estate Investment team London to support deal execution on European real estate transactions with a focus on the Nordics.Main Responsibilities
- Responsible for supporting deal execution on European real estate transactions, primarily focused on the UK, Nordics, Germany, and the Netherlands
- Responsible for conducting research and analysis to identify potential investment opportunities in different geographies and asset classes.
- Contribute to the development of investment strategies for European Real Estate markets.
- Support deal activity in financial modelling of potential deals, designing and maintaining underwriting models
- Assist in analysing, structuring, negotiating, and recommending new deals.
- Responsible for preparing investment memos and presentations for the investment committee.
- Support transaction execution workstreams, including due diligence, underwriting and legal documentation.
- Support asset management activities relating to existing investments
Background and Experience
- Minimum Bachelor degree (1st or 2:1), ideally in finance or accounting or economics
- Minimum 1-4 years’ experience working in a real estate team within an investment bank or private equity firm
- Proven real estate track record in the Nordics
- Deal experience in value-add and opportunistic strategies
- Broad real estate sector experience
- Strong financial modelling skills
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Highly organised
- Strong judgement and decision-making skills
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint and Excel
- Native level written and spoken English
- Fluency in a Nordics language (Danish, Swedish, Norwegian)
