Job Summary
SUMMARY:Client is one of growing real estate investment and development company. They are looking for Investment Associate~Manager role on the Investments and Capital team based in Tokyo, Japan.
The position’s primary focus is to support the Managing Director and Director of the Investments team with performing various financial analysis and investment management tasks related to the firm’s logistics, data center, renewable energy, and residential real estate ventures.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Underwriting for acquisitions and development opportunities including the creation and review of investment memorandums, building Excel financial models, and investor requests.
- Monthly and quarterly asset level & investor reports
- Market data collection and maintenance of the internal market database
- Transaction closings between Investments, Fund Management, Asset Management, Finance, and Transaction teams.
- Construction, environmental, legal, and tax due diligence.
- Business development activities with senior management including ad hoc analysis and presentations.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- At least 2 years of real estate or real estate finance industry experience include real estate acquisition or transaction
*Japanese commercial real estate sector, private equity, and/or fund management business. - Strong working knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

- Excellent interpersonal and cross-cultural communication skills.
- Self-starter with ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables.
LANGUAGES:
- Fluent Japanese and Business level English to liaise with internal/external clients
