As our client embarks on an ambitious expansion phase, they seek a dynamic and visionary Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to lead the team and drive strategic growth.

Position Summary:
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) will serve as the primary leader and strategist, responsible for steering the company towards its mission and vision. The CEO will collaborate closely with the main shareholder to set and execute strategic initiatives, build and lead a high-performing team, and act as the key representative of the company in all internal and external engagements. This role demands a proactive leader with a strong understanding of the BTR and data centre industries, exceptional strategic acumen, and outstanding leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership:
  • Develop and Implement Strategy: Collaborate with the main shareholder to formulate and implement a comprehensive business strategy focused on expansion and sustainability.
  • Vision and Mission Alignment: Ensure all business activities align with the company’s mission, vision, and long-term goals.
  • Market Analysis and Adaptation: Continuously monitor industry trends, market dynamics, and competitive landscape to adjust strategies accordingly.

Team Building and Management:
  • Recruitment and Development: Build, mentor, and lead a diverse and high-performing executive team capable of achieving strategic objectives.
  • Organizational Culture: Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the company.
  • Performance Management: Implement performance metrics and management processes to ensure accountability and continuous improvement.

Representation and Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Internal Representation: Act as the primary spokesperson within the company, ensuring clear and effective communication of strategic initiatives and goals.
  • External Representation: Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and in media engagements to enhance the company’s profile and reputation.
  • Stakeholder Relations: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, partners, clients, and regulatory bodies.

Operational Oversight:
  • Operational Efficiency: Oversee daily operations, ensuring they align with strategic goals and deliver high-quality services.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to safeguard the company’s interests.
  • Financial Management: Work closely with the CFO to ensure robust financial health, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Educational Background: Advanced degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven executive leadership experience, preferably in the data centre, or technology infrastructure industries.
  • Strategic Acumen: Proven track record of developing and executing successful business strategies.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and manage a diverse team.
  • Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of the data centre markets, including trends, technologies, and regulatory environment.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively represent the company to diverse audiences in German and English
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive and innovative approach to challenges.
