Macdonald & Company are delighted to be working with a thriving and growing Property Consultancy in Milton Keynes who are looking to grow their Facilities Management department with the appointment of a Head of FM. This is a leadership role that manages a complex and diverse portfolio of growing commercial assets. As the company undergoes an exciting period of growth, they now have a presence across the Home Counties and their assets are located within close proximity of their offices with the portfolio being a diverse mix of Offices, Retail, Leisure and Industrial. This role will give you the opportunity to grow your experience and exposure to complex facilities management issues.The business are looking for someone with demonstrable facilities management experience and previous experience working within operations, maintenance and project management roles and that can help them shape and grow the department in line with expected company and portfolio growth. In the role you will manage a small team of Facilities Managers creating a safe, productive and efficient environment. You will report into the Head of Property Management on the operational delivery of all facilities management services, ensure that the services are delivered in accordance with all contractual obligations.
You will have excellent knowledge on property management compliance and be able to fully identify when systems and equipment certification is required. You will also have knowledge of current HSE legislation with a recognised qualified such as IOSH or NEBOSH. You will be an excellent communicator, not afraid to hold others to account for their actions and project deadlines. The successful candidate will possess second to none management skills and will take pride in your skillset with the work you undertake having a direct impact on the growth and success of the business.
