Are you a top performing broker looking for a stable income?Our client is an established, privately owned property company with nearly 60 buildings across Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Durban. They are looking for a Leasing Consultant to join their small, dynamic team. In this role, you’ll be at the forefront of securing tenants for their diverse portfolio. It will be important for you to manage your own deals and work closely with external brokers—your key partners in filling vacancies. With support from the marketing team, you’ll have access to top-notch marketing materials, including updated vacancy schedules, brochures, plans, their internal app, and the company website.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include negotiating offers, attending property viewings, and nurturing strong relationships with brokers to keep the company top of mind. A solid understanding of the financial, operational, and legal aspects of leasing is crucial for crafting profitable deals. Additionally, you will need to visit properties regularly to ensure they’re in top shape. This role is perfect for someone with a background in commercial or industrial brokering who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys taking ownership of transactions from start to finish.
As a confident communicator and negotiator, you should have at least 3 years' commercial or industrial leasing experience, a matric certificate, a valid driver’s license, and a reliable vehicle. You should be comfortable with the Microsoft Office Suite, have a good grasp of MDA software, and be adept at reading building plans.
