The family Trust is looking for a skilled Financial Manager to work alongside their current Senior Financial Manager, who oversees an extensive and complex international portfolio of direct and indirect property investments. With the current Financial Manager looking to retire in the next 2 years, in this role, you will assist in managing a diverse and intricate portfolio of global shares, properties, and investments. Your responsibilities will include supporting the Senior Financial Manager in overseeing a significant shareholding in a South African REIT and handling the administration of various Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) both within the company and for external projects. You will be responsible for financial reporting and analysis, including preparing and reviewing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts. You will also be involved in financial reconciliations, ensuring accuracy in financial data, and assisting in the preparation of tax returns and compliance documentation. Additionally, you will manage cash flow analysis and contribute to financial strategy discussions, providing insights to support decision-making processes.
The ideal candidate will be a CA(SA) with a strong background in financial management. Experience with sophisticated financial structures and international assets is essential. This role will require you to navigate and address complex financial scenarios, working closely with strong personalities and potentially conflicting agendas.
