Job Summary
Macdonald & Company are delighted to continue its success of working with a Global Property Consultancy who are seeking an Associate Director to join the team and assist in the management of a large public sector contract/portfolio. You will take immediate responsibility for the management of your own properties and projects and will have the potential to expand your client base. This is a first rate prospect for a confident and enthusiastic individual to make their mark and with the prospects of an expanding client base.Responsibilities:
- Take responsibility for some of your own clients and help serve other existing clients
- Provide high quality property management services
- Prepare reports for and lead client meetings
- Identify and undertake asset management initiatives
- Conduct property inspections and assessments
- Negotiate leases and contracts with tenants
- Oversee rent collections and financial reporting
- Facilitate regular tenant meetings with strong occupier engagement skills
- Liaise with Facilities Managers in respect of service charge budgeting and reporting and undertaking regular service charge expenditure monitoring and reporting
- Liaise with client accounting team on production of annual service charge budgets, approving reconciliations, rent raising reports etc
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, tenants, and stakeholders
- Work closely with the wider team to ensure the successful delivery of projects
- Provide advice and guidance on property management matters
- A minimum of 5 years' experience in commercial property management
- Proven experience of direct reporting to property management clients
- Relevant qualifications, such as a degree in real estate or property management
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
- Knowledge of property management legislation and regulations
- Experience in managing public sector portfolios would be advantageous
